Yes! Being able to receive notifications about shipping requests in my area keeps me informed about opportunities to make money. Also being notified about people traveling within my specified area allows me to use others to fulfill my shipping needs. Often I will miss out on opportunities if I’m not alerted right away, because someone else will see the notification and commit to deliver it, resulting in it being removed from the map.

Anytime I make a delivery with MAD Freight, I earn money. I can either commit to deliver an item that someone else has posted, or I can post the locations I will be traveling (in the Add/Update Destination section of the menu) and someone else can utilize me to make a delivery for them. 

There are usually people, that we are unaware of, traveling the same places we need things from or delivered to. MAD Freight helps us make connections with those people so we don’t always have to make special trips to fulfill all of our own shipping needs. 

Currently MAD Freight is not involved in the transfer of funds so I should use discretion when allowing people I am not familiar with to deliver my items. In the Freight Network section of the menu I can build up my private network of people I know and trust to deliver my more personal items. I can specify in my Shipping Request if I want it visible by “anyone” or people “only in my network”. 

The request gets moved to the “My Shipping Requests” section after someone commits to deliver it and it is removed from the map. If I commit to deliver an item it gets moved to “Items I Will Deliver.” If someone responds to a destination I have posted, it will also get moved to “Items I Will Deliver.” In those new locations I am able to update/be updated about the details of the delivery. 

First, in my phone settings I need to allow push notifications from MAD Freight to receive notifications. Then within the app I need to determine what I will be notified about. I can set those options by pushing the bell icon when viewing the map page. The area I am viewing on the map is the area for which I will receive shipping notifications. Alerts for destination updates is set by specifying the disance from a determined location.
